Le messager de la paix » Ce titre : peut
apparaitre insolite, décalé, utopique dans le contexte actuel, et cependant !
Les
guerres se terminent toujours et selon :par une trêve, un armistice, une réelle
négociation de paix, ou par un vaincu et son esprit de revanche selon qui gagne
et a imposé ses conditions.
Mais
le dialogue, le vrai : pas le débat pour gagner sur l’autre, mais le véritable
dialogue qui intériorise la réalité de son interlocuteur peut permettre
d’éviter des conflits qui dégênèrent.
Né
quasiment aveugle, ce qui massacra ma scolarité à l’enfance et l’adolescence,
ceci, car il a fallu 13 années à un grand spécialiste pour me faire passer de ½
dixième à un œil et 1/10 à l’autre, entre 6 et 19 ans !
A
40 ans encore, je disposais des seuls CEP et d’un CAP. J’ai imposé de lourds
sacrifices à ma famille pour passer de ce niveau à Docteur Honoris Causa à 57
ans.
Pour
remercier d’avoir retrouvé une vision acceptable, je me suis rendu dans une
soixantaine de pays entre 1968 et 2017 ,proclamer : la paix, la culture,
l’éducation, la solidarité, l’ensemble des droits humains parfois au risque de
ma vie.
J’ai
tout connu : honneurs, mais aussi expulsions, présence de chars, tirs sur ma
personne.
J’ai
chanté, y compris pour des peuples dans des rues, sur des places, des favelas
de Rio de Janeiro aux plaines Masai, d’Hiroshima et Nagasaki au bord du lac
Michigan, du théâtre en plein air d’Amman à Ramallah, de l’Eglise San Pedro en
Israël aux rues de Budapest, sur des sites touristiques en Turquie, sous les
balles au Sri Lanka…J’ai connu les chars russes à Prague en aout 1968, je fus
expulsé manu militari par la police franquiste en 1971 de l’aéroport de Madrid,
et renvoyé vers la France……
Durant
une dizaine d’années, j’ai eu des dialogues nourris avec les adeptes et
représentants des grandes religions universelles. J’en ai retiré beaucoup
d’humilité. Certaines, sont méconnues, ou inspirent la crainte voire la peur
par méconnaissance de leur histoire…Et de la nôtre laquelle, parfois, a
influencé leur cheminement et perception du monde occidental…
Bien
entendu :je ne confonds pas le message original de grandes religions avec les
déviations sectaires, fanatiques et meurtrières qui existent hélas.et qui
veulent imposer par la force et la soumission leur conception religieuse et
idéologique.

Wars
always end, according to: a truce, an armistice, a real negotiation of peace,
or a vanquished one and his spirit of revenge according to who wins and has
imposed his conditions.
But
dialog is the real thing: not debate to win over others, but genuine dialog
that internalizes the reality of one’s interlocutor can help avoid conflicts
that bother.
Born
almost blind, which killed my schooling in childhood and adolescence, because
it took a great specialist 13 years to make me go from ½ tenth to one eye and
1/10 to the other, between 6 and 19 years!

thank myself for regaining an acceptable vision, I traveled to some sixty
countries between 1968 and 2017 to proclaim: peace, culture, education,
solidarity, all human rights, sometimes at the risk of my life.
I
knew everything: honors, but also evictions, tanks, shooting at me.
I
sang, including for people in the streets, on squares, from favelas in Rio de
Janeiro to the Masai Plains, Hiroshima and Nagasaki by Lake Michigan, from the
open-air theater in Amman to Ramallah, from the Church of San Pedro in Israel
to the streets of Budapest, to tourist sites in Turkey, under bullets in Sri
Lanka... I knew Russian tanks in Prague in August 1968, I was expelled manu
militari by the Franco police in 1971 from Madrid airport, and returned to
France.......
For
a decade, I had intensive dialogs with the followers and representatives of the
great universal religions. I took a lot of humility out of it. Some of them are
unknown, or inspire fear or even fear by ignorance of their history... And of
ours which, sometimes, has influenced their path and perception of the Western
world...
Of
course: I do not confuse the original message of great religions with the
sectarian, fanatical and murderous deviations that unfortunately exist and
which want to impose by force and submission their religious and ideological
conception.
